Sotn glitched HP , beyond 9999

I found this by accident , i reached 9999 at level 74 using infinity glitch ... then i level up and it push further my hp :

Nice! Same thing happen when you do the save glitch or game shark. You can do this with other counters like Hearts.

hearts could break limit too, you only need to have 9999 hearts and be in LV 98 or less when you gain a LV the limit will break.

I already did it but i don't like cause the counter becomes strange (HP).

I did it before using save glitch. This game is very strange: there arent limits on the counters. You can increase without stopping lol

I do not understand anything of what is written here...

Is this the saturn or playstation?
If its the Saturn version, How did you make those glitches?

The infinity glitch is for Playstation 1 version -- I don't think it works on the Saturn version. The infinity glitch allows you to get as many life max ups and heart max ups as you want.

I'm not sure if I understood too but I think what dentynho tried to say was if you had more than 9999 HP / Hearts, and get another HP / Heart Max Up instead of increasing them will back to 9999.

You're right.

I wouldn't be so sure, I guess I was wrong cause if you had HP 9999 and get a LV up it will break the HP limit and after it if you continue getting Life max ups they will increase.

I think the correct would be:
If you have exactly 9999 and get another LMU/HMU it will add 5 points in the counter HP or Heart but will not reach 10.004 the counter will count but back to 9999.

I was saying your translation was right. And, actually, that happens. Try to use game shark to make your HP, for example, 1092019. Then, get a Hp Max Up. I tried it, it really happens.

So life max-ups can only go up to 9999, and if you want the highest possible HP, you will need to get 9999 at level 1 or 2(?) and then only increase that number with level-ups.

You get 4833 hp added to your starting HP for reaching level 99? So, that is 4833+9999=14832

I can't do the 0-kill game
I don't want to do a 1-kill game
And even a 2 or 3 kill game would be be a lot of work just to have 14,000 HP instead of 9999 hp.

Sure it would be great to have a file with crazy high HP, but is it worth all the trouble?

Sure it is. Everything in this game is based on persistence and... Troubles. Many glitches can destroy your save file, and worse, your memory card. Sure, it is not THAAAAAT thing if you play on an emulator... But it sure sucks. Anyway, when it works, it sure helps you ALOT. This is not an exception, though it doesn't causes a lot of trouble.

I am trying it on PS3, so it is all new territory. Not sure if the infinity glitch will even work on PS3! I am having trouble getting RSM to work, and I got RSM to work on PSP/DXC version and Xbox360 version and PS1, so why not PS3...hmmm?

Negative if you had lv 98 you can have a very higher hp (i guess), you only need one level up, after it you can keep increasing with the HP with infinite glitch.

Most glitches, if not all, got fixed. I think it's a waste of time, trying to make a save with high stats using glitches in the PS3 version, actually.

You are right about the Infinity glitch not working on PS3, because it does not work on DXC or 360 either.

But as for other glitches being fixed, I don't think so.

1. I have already tried almost every glitch already, and all work.
...even the money glitch works on PS3 and NOT on xbox360 or DXC, so... it seems like nothing was fixed from PS1 to PS3

2. They don't even know about the infinity glitch or RSM. I bet there is less than 5000 people in the world who know.

I think it has more to do with the soft reset acting like a hard reset. Or it could be me doing something wrong.

neste caso vc esta enganado vc ira vouitar para 9999 e depois os live max up naop iram mais funcionar eu estava testando isso esses dias
