As an SotN glitching community, we consider a maximum percentage "official" when it does not use sinking to obtain extra rooms. So we never use more than 35 heart refreshes in a row, while under a floor, to obtain white glitch rooms, because it opens the door to infinite sinking or "white waterfalls".

However, there are a few exceptions to this rule:

1. In the Regular Castle, Maria/Holy Glasses area, right side wall. To bypass a room that will crash the game.

This sink is not under a floor

2. Inverted Castle Royal Chapel, after doing Shift 4 Rooms tech, to create a large shift-line to escape from under the floor.

Does NOT open up any new rooms under the floor

So, the question at hand: The new tech uses a 71 HR sink to reach the ceiling of the Inverted "Cave" area, near the Death boss room. And it opens one rooms on the way to the ceiling. But once you reach the ceiling, all 3 rooms (including the sink room) can easily be opened with official glitching techs. So, in the end, you are left with no extra rooms opened from sinking.

The issues:

1- Sinking through an illegal room in order to gain access to a spot where said room could be obtained along with others.

2- Sinking through existing rooms (blue or white) in order to gain access to a room within the current zone.

Is it okay to sink through legal and illegal room(s) in order to gain access to an area where the illegal and/or additional rooms can then be obtained while staying within the same zone?

Since it was more of a 50/50 split on wbw (and the people who voted no, like the 409% map) we made a split decision. the 3 rooms in the IC mines are official on the 452.7% map, now 453.1?
And the 409% map is only adding the 1 room in the IC marble gallery. Its weird, but its progress Smile
