Yes I was there yesterday, here in Stockholm & Got to meet Michiro Yamane!
She did made a FULL version of the song "Dance of pales!".
She also told us the song´s original true title is Waltz of pearls!
The song had about double the usual length, & featured much of an up and down, "stair-like" fast piano music near the end.
I liked it better then the shorter version, & it was my favorite track from SOTN.
She also got to play Wood carving partita, using the original "piano simulair" instrument used in SOTN.
Besides Michiro Yamane & SOTN, they also playd many other songs from the other games.
Songs from:
CV 1234 nes/snes
CV Belmounts revenge GB
CV Bloodlines/Vampire killer genesis/megadrive
Aria of sorrow GBA
Rondo of blood PCE
CV 64 + Legacy of darkness N64
They used all the neccesary instruments to recreate the game experience.
Orchestra, orgagon, & a rockband.
In fact they also used a 8-bit synth (!)
It also was some theater roleplay that was both funny & lame at the same time.
All tickets were sold out before the final day.
The price for the tickets was 47 euros, if you wanted a deacent place to sit in front of the concert.
The sucky seets costed 33 Euros.
If you wanted to "meet N greet" miss Michiro Yamane, it costed 10 Euros extra, So I ended up paying 57 Euros to meet her & to get an autograph on my Dracula X Saturn.
I could not afford to eat 1 cheeseburger that same day
Pics & videos will be available in the future!
(Hopefully we can download the full dance of pales version too!
Even cooler would be to hack SOTN to replace the old one.)
